City give Leader a birthday present
WINCHESTER CITY came up with the perfect birthday present for manager Andy Leader on Saturday. After a string of poor performances and a somewhat lacklustre first half, two goals from skipper Dave Allen were enough to provide Leader with a win - albeit against Slough Town a side third from bottom in the table. A 0-0 half-time scoreline wasn't exactly the many happy returns' 43-year-old Leader had hoped for. But he was not afraid to change things and, having dropped Adam George and Richard Gregory to the bench in the wake of the latest defeat - 2-0 at Thatcham - he sent them both on after an hour for Paul Taplin and James Knight. Four minutes later his boldness was rewarded when man-of-the-match Aaron Parfitt's fizzing, low drive was parried by keeper Richard Barnard for Allen to slot in the rebound at the far post.
IFC Recommendations for Simplifying Business Registration in Belarus ...
The Belarusian government has introduced a decree to simplify the registration and liquidation of companies. The document was developed by the Ministry of Justice, in cooperation with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group. It introduces the declarative principle of registration and cuts twofold the minimum charter capital requirements for new legal entities. Under the new decree, registration authorities are not required to verify documents that are submitted for state registration by a start-up, but the applicant is liable for any inappropriate information. Also, except for those seeking licensing, applicants are not required to disclose their business lines in founding documents. The decree incorporates most of IFCs proposals on simplifying registration. The proposed changes are truly revolutionary for Belarus.
Officer Barely Dodges Pole through Car Window Tragedy
A chase ended with a pole smashed right through the windshield of a Edgewood ISD patrol car. The school district police officer was after two men who stole an air-conditioning unit. The Edgwood ISD officer saw the two people stealing the air conditioner. She chased after them into the street, where the two men separated and one ran right in front of her police car. She then swerved to avoid the suspect and instead smashed into a chain link fence. A post from the fence crashed through the windshield. Luckily no one was in the passenger seat of the patrol car, because the fence post went completely through the windshield and into the passenger seat of the police car. The two thieves got away with the air conditioning unit they stole from the abandoned Edgewood Elementary School.

Kate: Matthew will be an incredible dad
According to his friend and co-star Kate Hudson, he has what it takes to be a great dad. "I think he will be an incredible dad," she said to People.com "Matthew happens to be one of the most loving and loyal people I know and his family is important to him. He's great with kids and I think he'll be a very responsible and absolute blast of a dad." And the 28-year-old mother-of-one, who starred with Matthew in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and upcoming Fool's Gold, said people shouldn't be fooled by Matthew's public image, which often includes photos of the actor letting his hair down. "I think because people see Matthew always out doing something whether it's out dancing in a bar or being on the beach or taking a hike with some crazy bandana on, I think that, like anything, they take their image and what they want somebody else to be and then they just run with that," she added.
